The Young Cinema Art Festival's Rules and Regulations
1. The Young Cinema Art Festival is organized by The Cinema Art Foundation.
2. The aim of the Festival is to present the work of young filmmakers, students and newly-graduated film schools students.
3. Each competitor or film school is allowed to submit any number of films which fulfill the following technical requirements:
- submitted films must be in good technical condition
- films can be submitted on DVD or miniDVD
- appropriate codecs should be enclosed
4. Films submitted for the competition need to have been produced after the 1st of January 2009.
5. The length of submitted films cannot exceed 30 minutes.
6. Please enclose stills from the film and pictures of the authors and the cast’ personal data on a CD. Files should allow further editing, or you can email the above-mentioned data to info@cinemaart.pl
7. A correctly filled in application form must be enclosed with each film. The application form is available on our website in the SUBMIT FILM section. Please note that films without a correctly filled in application form will be automatically disqualified.
8. The organizer does not return submitted film copies.
9. Submitted films will be judged without division into categories. The professional Selection Committee will select films for the competition out of the submitted films. The winners and special mentions will be selected by two parallel juries: the Professional Jury and the Student Jury. The make-up of the jury will be announced shortly on the Organizer’s website.
10. The films will be awarded the Main Prize and Special Mentions. However, the Jury is allowed not to grant the Main Prize, to grant joint Main Prizes, as well as to award films with a Special Mention at their own discretion.
In addition, the Festival’s audience will grant the Audience Award.
11. The Jury’s decision to award the authors of selected films is final and cannot be questioned.

Films must be submitted no later than July 20th , 2010 (postmark being conclusive)
14. List of the films admitted to the competition will be published on the Organizer’s website: www.youngcinemaart.pl
15. Submitting a film, the competitor agrees to:
- screening of the submitted copy of the film during the Festival
- presentation of the extracts of the film (whose length do not exceed 60 seconds) in TV programmes, on the Internet and in all the Festival’s publicity issues.
- presentation of the publicity data concerning the film and its authors (e.g. the director’s personal data) as determined by the copyright law, in the media, publicity issues, on the Internet and for other promotional purposes.
16. Entering the Competition equals the acceptance of the above Rules and Regulations.
